| Lisa lives just outside of the West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee borders in the beautiful mountains of Southern Virginia. Over the last 17 years, Lisa has served Southern Virginia as a Nurse. Her love of writing and storytelling began in her early childhood and progressed through her adult life. Some of Lisa’s fondest memories of her storytelling were with her sister Linda while in their youth as they re-wrote many of their childhood favorites to entertain their family and of course later in life as Lisa would tell her own stories to entertain her Pediatric patients.
Lisa’s main goal in life is to reach out to people through Nursing and her writings. “One of these most rewarding things in life is to make someone smile.” Lisa says, when asked, what she likes about her job as a Nurse and her writing. Since pursuing her writing career, Lisa has also made a commitment to aide in higher education by starting “The Monessa” scholarship fund. A portion of all proceeds from Lisa’s Fantasy Fiction Trilogy “Monessa” and all shorts published will go to the scholarship fund and will aide a deserving high school senior in obtaining their desired college education.
